The Wild Planets where formed in 1987, by Lee Cotterell (Bass) & Bruce Tomalin (Vocals). Being restricted by the lack of a guitarist and a drummer(a drummer, something that would haunt them forever) they where introduced to Owen Davies (Guitar) and Johhny Orchard (Drums). Johnny was already full time singer for another band 'Jonah & The Wail' but agreed to fill in until a more permanent drummer could be found. Following the Wild Planets first three live performances Johnny handed drumming responsibilities over to Max. The new line up immediately set off for the studio. Three songs from the resulting demo are available here (Sci Fi Hip Hop, Sometimes & Killer). The demo 'The First Visitation' was recorded at Shipp Studios in Trowbridge in 1988.
