Bruce joined Love Junkie following the end of the Wild Planets, in September 1990. The band had been formed in 1989 comprising of Alan Powell - Drums, Mike Young - Bass Guitar and Rob Evans - Guitar. They had written lots of music but lacked a singer and lyrics. Bruce joined and immediately set about writing lyrics and formulating song structures. By early 1991 the band where ready to perform.

While the band where still in their infancy they recieved favourable reviews, quickly gathering a following for there lively stage performances and retro, 60's psychedelia sound. They soon took to the recording studio, Pete Lamb's studio in Pottern, a studio Bruce had used previously with the Wild Planets. The resulting demo also gained favourable reviews. Although one of the original songs has been lost one still remains here on this page.
