Bruce joined Headrush following the demise of the Love Junkie, in September 1991. The band had been formed several years previously as Cut 'n 'Thrust. Comprising Alex Goodstein (Guitar) Duncan Clark (Bass) and Anthony (Joe) Derrick (Drums), they where a heavy rock band, but following the departure of their singer, Bruce joined and immediately set about changing the name image and sound of the band bringing it more up to date.

The band spent many hours reheasing and writing new material, until they where ready to perform live. The band worked hard and performed regularly in the Bristol and Bath area. Playing a Motor bike rally near Glastonbury and recording many of their tracks at Holt studios, most of which are here on this page
