Glider was formed following the demise of Headrush in 1998. Bruce and Alex (Headrush) who had similar ideas about the music they wanted to write and perform decided to start a new band. Bruce contacted Mike Young (Love Junkie) and then they advertised for a drummer. Simon answered and they set about writing and recording. They only performed a few times but where generally well received. Below are three tracks from their demo and a live track which the band where generally all pleased with.

Simon decided that he wasn't commited to the band and left. Bruce reflected on his ten year pursuit of a dream of career in music and decided that it was time to give up the pursuit of that particular dream.
